Ron & Kate Le Blanc are the owners/photographers
of Le Blanc Photography.
In business since 1992, they specialize in high
volume event photography such as parties and
dances, graduations, communions and reunions,
and trade shows and conventions.
They offer and often use virtual backgrounds
during the events they photograph.
At the beginning, they used the methods early virtual photography utilized: the same
technology used in the movie
business...projected backgrounds. The equipment
was large and expensive. And the technology was
limiting. When the science allowed for digital
backgrounds and green screen technology, Ron and
Kate learned and used this new method of virtual
photography.
Ron became a noted expert in this field. He has
taught classes utilizing green screen
technology, beta tested green screen software
for a software company, and helped edit a book
about green screen photography for a Washington
author.
Ron & Kate offer a photo booth service which
allows them to interact with the guests. This is
more fun for Ron and Kate and the guests as
well.
Ron is on the Board of Directors of the Portland
Metropolitan Photographer's Association. A
member of the West Linn Chamber of Commerce and Professional Photographers of America. Ron is
currently working toward his Master Photographer
Degree.
